Bob joined Northglass in 2012. For the first two years He worked on the technical side, then moved to project management and worked on the Apple Park project. In 2015, He came to the US and started the Northglass US office in New York, working more closely with architectural consultants and various contractors. He has worked on more than 100 projects at most of the major cities in the US and had a lot of experience with glass technology.

Brian De Maggio is an Architect, Studio Director, and Design Manager with over 20 years of experience spanning the full range of the profession, from office buildings, to arenas, to museums. He sees the importance of excellent design coupled with a strong knowledge of materials, forms, and practices. Brian is highly involved in his project phases and is a valuable resource from pre-design through construction documents and administration. He pushes clients and teams for excellent design and execution with a keen eye towards achieving intended goals and outcomes.

Bryce Given is Vitro’s Architectural Manager serving Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest US. Bryce’s role is to help design professionals, glaziers, and glass fabricators save time while working to understand the available glass product options to achieve energy performance targets and aesthetic goals.

Darbi Krumpos has over 28 years of experience with the firm. She graduated from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics. She is a certified documents technologist and holds two building enclosure commissioning certificates. Project support includes code compliance and warranty support, coordination of private and public projects worldwide, litigation and remediation for condominium associations and owners, investigation, and research related to construction deficiencies and litigation, specification writing, and contract administration for new construction and remediation for both commercial and residential projects, building enclosure commissioning, field testing, and quality assurance and quality control program management.

Eric Claeys holds a degree as Civil Engineer in Construction from KU Leuven, Belgium, a degree in Industrial Engineering in Public Works from KU Leuven, Belgium, and graduated with a Master in Business Administration from the Vlerick Business School, Belgium. Eric has 40 years of experience in façade technologies and consulting and was involved in hundreds of prestigious projects by the most famous architects in more than 30 countries worldwide. Since the very beginning, value engineering has been his driving force, along with the belief that “ It always seems impossible until it’s done”. Out-of-the-box thinking is not just in his DNA; it is his DNA.

Eric is the inventor of “hybrid” curtain wall systems, an innovative combination of stick and unitized CW systems. The technologies are covered by an extensive patent portfolio in more than 70 countries worldwide.

Frank Zhong, Assoc. AIA, is a TS&D Scientist for Dow Chemical. He oversees the West Region of USA and Mexico. He is part of the HPB High Performance Building Solutions, Frank graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Bachelor of Science Architecture, specialties include innovation to improve design freedom, increase energy efficiency, design assistance and support, building enclosure, waterproofing and testing enclosure performance.

Jack Coble is an award-winning practitioner working at the intersection of district-scale urban development, architecture, urban design, art, and climate advocacy. As VP of Design and Environmental Stewardship at Urban Villages (UVI), his current projects include the Populus Hotel in Denver, Colorado, and Railspur in Seattle, Washington, a mixed-use micro-district with hotel, workplace, retail, and hospitality-centric uses. He strategically collaborates with climate- and arts-focused organizations to implement ambitious climate mitigation strategies alongside unique cultural programming. Previously, as an Associate Principal at SHoP Architects, he led the design of diplomatic campuses in Milan, Italy, and Tegucigalpa, Honduras, as well as international mixed-use urban projects for institutional and corporate clients. Jack is a registered architect in NY and CO, legacy LEED AP, has been a visiting lecturer and critic at Columbia, the Universities of Virginia, Arkansas, Colorado, and SVA among others. He holds a dual-Master in Architecture and Urban Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia as well as a Bachelor, magna cum laude, from Middlebury College.

Jeff Peters is a dedicated leader and Partner Vice President at Skyline Sheet Metal, Inc., based in Troutdale, Oregon, where he has been a driving force for over 30 years. With a remarkable tenure marked by strategic growth and innovation, Jeff brings extensive expertise in construction project management, wall system design, and new technology adoption to the sheet metal and construction industries. Having evolved from his role as Senior Estimator, New Product Development, and Marketing Manager to a key leadership position, he exemplifies a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, enhancing brand image, and forging impactful partnerships.

John Stout is a Design Principal in Weber Thompson’s High-Rise & Multifamily Studio. He is a PNW native and a graduate of the University of Washington. His work over the last decade is featured throughout the Seattle skyline and includes projects like The Ayer, The Ivey, and Nexus. His design methodology is centered around a user-focused experience, helping clients explore and visualize the experience throughout their buildings, and setting new standards for urban living.

Jon leads our Affordable Housing Studio with a passion for sustainable design and a commitment to creating vibrant, accessible urban architecture. He firmly holds that good design that connects communities should be available to everyone, no matter their means. As our Quality Management Director and a LEED Accredited Professional, Jon is part of the firm’s Climate Positive Initiative focused on reducing operational and embodied carbon in all our projects.

Jordi Marasse is Project Consultant Manager North America at Reynaers Aluminum. For the last 4 years Jordi has been coordinating the North American projects. Jordi consistently goes above and beyond to foster enduring partnerships with our esteemed architects, real estate developers, general contractors and engineers. By nurturing these relationships, we ensure mutual growth and success in the future.

José Estrada has nearly two decades of experience in enclosure consulting. His project portfolio varies in type and budget, including multi-million-dollar single buildings to multi-billion-dollar full-block redevelopments. His experience includes projects in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Israel, and China. José is passionate about building science, unitized facade systems, and sustainability. When not working on a project, he enjoys researching global trends in the design and construction industry, writing articles on trending topics, and presenting at conferences and industry events.

Justin Cochran designs world-class workplace, life science, mixed-use and hospitality projects that advance client goals and benefit the greater community. A creative designer with an international portfolio, Justin is known for designing extraordinarily customized environments by keeping an organization’s culture and business drivers at the heart of any project. A versatile team leader and effective project manager, Justin has the organizational and technical aptitude to drive and deliver projects on a variety of scales, from design to construction phases. During the past two decades, his focus on budget-conscious solutions includes sustainable design and the use of materials that have yielded LEED Gold and Platinum facilities across North America.

Kais Al-Rawi, AIA MSFE, works at the intersection of architecture, engineering and technology with expertise in solving complex building challenges through digital design. He is an Associate Director at the Los Angeles office of award-winning Structures and Facades practice Eckersley O'Callaghan. Kais was selected in Airport Business Top 40 under 40 (2022). His experience was been leveraged on world-class projects including SoFi Stadium, Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, San Diego Airport T1 redevelopment, West Gates at LAX, Daily’s Place, New Orleans Airport, Orange County Museum of Art among others. He is an expert in computational design and its implementation in the AEC industry from concept to construction.

Kais holds a Master’s Degree from the Architectural Association (AA), London in Emergent Technologies and Design and is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University. His work has been published and presented internationally at conferences such as Advanced Building Skins, Facade Tectonics Institute (FTI), Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA) and the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures (IASS). Kais is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Architecture and has taught and directed the Architectural Association Visiting School programs in Los Angeles and Jordan with a focus on space architecture. He also served as a juror to NASA's centennial challenge competition for Martian habitats.

Lisa Rammig leads the teams in Eckersley O’Callaghan’s California offices. She has played a significant role in its expansion, establishing a West Coast presence, and leading many of the group’s most challenging projects, while she remains involved in academia and has built strong links between research and industry, helping maintain the practice’s position as leaders in the field. She remains part of the Facade Research Group at TU Delft where she pursued her doctorate research and is an elected member of the Special Advisory Council of the Facade Tectonics Institute at the University of Southern California. Her teaching experience includes engagements at MIT, TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and the California Academy of Arts. Publications include scientific papers, industry journals and contributions to technical books.

Martin Houston, AIA, is the Director of Learning and Development for Walsh Construction Co. Martin is developing training modules across all disciplines of the company, ultimately providing a consistent delivery system to aid the growth of our employees. This system serves as a platform for sharing procedures, policies and best practices for learning and development. He previously served as the Quality Director for WCC, leading a team of architects and field quality control personnel in pursuit of durable, air-tight and energy efficient projects for our clients. He has a B.Arch. degree from the University of Cincinnati, holds architecture licenses in California, Washington and Oregon, is a LEED Accredited Professional, a Construction Document Technologist (CSI) and a Certified Building Science Thermographer.

Matt Aalfs, AIA, is the founder and principal architect at BuildingWork, an award-winning Seattle architecture firm. Matt founded the firm in 2016 to focus on work that supports the health of cities, the environment, and culture. Matt has three decades of experience, specializing in the design of civic and community facilities, public libraires, office workplaces, multi-family residential, renovation and adaptive reuse projects, and historic preservation. Matt earned a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington, and a B.A. in Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Matt has served as a visiting lecturer and design studio critic with the University of Washington Department of Architecture. He has also served on the AIA Seattle Board of Directors, the King County Library System Foundation Board, the ACT Theater Board of Directors, and as Architect Commissioner for the City of Seattle Design Commission.

Michael Bonn is a licensed professional architect with over 25 years of experience. Michael practiced architecture in the demanding Pacific Northwest climate for many years, with a primary focus on high quality building envelope design and execution. His experience in multistory wood frame construction crosses many sectors including multifamily housing, fire stations, and the hospitality industry. With a focus on exterior wall assemblies, water management strategies, window installations and failure testing, roofing systems, below grade detailing, and code review, Michael has a broad range of industry knowledge. His years of construction document and hands on construction administration background give him a broad and deep understanding of the design and construction industry. As a long-time building designer, Michael has also honed a thorough background in major building systems including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression.

With over 25 years of experience in building enclosure consulting, Petersen Lambert is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington and California and a Certified Building Enclosure Commissioning Provider (BECxP). As a charter member of the Air Barrier Association’s Certified Air Barrier Specialist program, Petersen brings deep expertise in both new construction and the rehabilitation of existing buildings. His project portfolio spans commercial, multi-family, educational, healthcare, hospitality, and governmental buildings, including adaptive reuse projects in Los Angeles and Seattle. With a strong understanding of the complexities involved in repairing and transforming existing structures, Petersen emphasizes collaboration to achieve successful outcomes on challenging projects.
